About
The Arizona Atmospheric Water Harvesting (AzAWH) Testbed at Arizona State University (ASU) offers innovative research, education, and collaboration opportunities that collectively advance atmospheric water harvesting technologies.
Launched in 2024 with support from the The NSF Futures Engine in the Southwest, AzAWH is part of the Global Center for Water Technology (GCWT) and serves as a national testbed to accelerate the development, testing, and commercialization of water vapor harvesting technologies.
Driving Innovation in Water Harvesting
AzAWH’s mission is to lead the development and adoption of advanced atmospheric water harvesting solutions. Our work focuses on redefining benchmarks for water yield, energy efficiency, and water quality when harvesting from the atmosphere or industrial vapor discharges. By integrating field demonstrations, pilot systems, and advanced analytics, we aim to recover and repurpose high-quality water for industrial, residential, and agricultural applications.
